“I chose to be photographed in the Leckhampton garden. My husband, Louis Cheung, and I spent many relaxing weekends at Leckhampton, looking out into the garden, often after hours of tinkering at the computer or conducting marathon experiments.
I have a photos of my mother on my phone. My mother encourages me to keep going an extra mile, which brought me to Cambridge on my first plane trip, in the late eighties when men outnumbered women for postgraduate studies.
Corpus takes good care of its undergraduates as well as the postgraduates. Louis and I are glad to be able to give back. May more men and women benefit and support this great institution!”
