Veronica Rogers

Originally from Poland, Veronica was one of the first of a small group of undergraduate students from Central and Eastern Europe to come the UK to study after the fall of the Berlin Wall. “It was an exciting time of discovery, building new friendships, and of discussions in the Corpus bar of how we will change the world.” She also recalls that the two people who had a profound impact on her while at Corpus were Diane Dawson and Gerard Duveen. “Diane’s intelligence, wit and unfailing empathy for her students as the Director of Studies for Economics, and Dr Duveen’s unforgettable political economy supervisions in the Eagle will never be forgotten.”

On leaving Corpus Veronica started her career at JP Morgan as a financial analyst for mergers and acquisitions, before taking up key positions at Dell Technologies, Trilogy Software and Microsoft, where she worked for 15 years in multiple leadership roles, culminating in her appointment as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Device Partner Sales.

In early 2020 Veronica became Senior Vice President, Head of Global Sales and Business Operations for PlayStation at Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). She led PlayStation's go-to-market organisation globally, with sales and operations teams in over 42 countries, responsible for an over 45 million subscriber services platform. During her tenure Veronica globalised sales and operations organisations, successfully launched PlayStation 5 - one of the most anticipated consumer products at the time, and relaunched PlayStation’s subscription platform PlayStation Plus, with a streamlined and modernised consumer offering.

A keen hiker, Veronica now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and son whilst pursuing research interests as a Fellow of Stanford University at the Distinguished Careers Institute (DCI). She is particularly interested in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) commercialisation and digital subscriptions business models evolution. She is also an independent board director of MCW, a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
